Bee Type 2 Electric Scooter, With Bold Design and Capacity to Tackle Different Terrains, Promises to Be the Ideal Choice for Those Seeking Efficiency and Style in Urban Transportation.

New Bee Type 2 electric scooter combines retro style, sustainability, and affordability, promising to revolutionize urban micromobility in Brazil

Bee, a Brazilian company specialized in electric micromobility, recently launched the Bee Type 2, an electric scooter that merges design inspired by classic Italian “Vespas” with modern technology and an affordable price.

With a promotional price of R$ 12,990, the model promises to conquer Brazilian urban centers by offering practicality, style, and sustainability.

Retro Design with a Modern Touch

The Bee Type 2 stands out for its appearance reminiscent of classic scooters, but with contemporary elements.

The Angel Eye headlight, the fairing made from 100% recycled and scratch-resistant material, and the “Tetris” style digital panel give the vehicle a unique look.

Additionally, the inclined central shock absorber provides more comfort and stability during rides.

Performance and Autonomy

Equipped with a 1,000 W motor, the Bee Type 2 reaches a maximum speed of 32 km/h, as per Resolution CONTRAN No. 996/2023, classifying it as a self-propelled vehicle, thus eliminating the need for a driver’s license.

The removable lithium battery offers autonomy of up to 60 km, with a recharge time of 6 to 8 hours, allowing users to easily charge the vehicle at home or work.

Sustainability and Practicality

In addition to using recycled materials in the fairing, the Bee Type 2 incorporates other sustainable features, such as low energy consumption and the absence of harmful emissions.

The lightweight vehicle, weighing approximately 70 kg, facilitates handling and maneuvers in urban traffic.

The load capacity of up to 180 kg allows for the transportation of two adults comfortably.

International Partnership and Market Expansion

The launch of the Bee Type 2 marks Bee’s first partnership with Chinese manufacturer Keeway, which is part of the Geely group, also controlling renowned brands like Volvo and Lotus.

Keeway is responsible for supplying the chassis, mechanical assembly, and motor of the scooter, ensuring quality and innovation in the final product.

Currently, Bee has five stores in Brazil, four in Rio de Janeiro and one in São Paulo.

The company plans to expand its presence to other regions, such as Santa Catarina and Minas Gerais, and already has units in Portugal and Spain.

Accessibility and Consumer Benefits

The Bee Type 2 is available in military green and coyote beige, with a promotional price of R$ 12,990, which can be paid in up to 12 interest-free installments on a credit card.

The company offers delivery throughout Brazil, with shipping costs calculated according to the destination region.

The exemption of a driver’s license for operation makes the model even more accessible to a broad audience seeking economical and sustainable transportation alternatives.
