Those interested in competing in the public competition must have Brazilian or Portuguese nationality and, in the case of Portuguese nationality, must always be supported by the Statute of Equality between Brazilians and Portuguese, with recognition of political rights, be in good standing with military obligations, for male candidates, be up to date with electoral obligations, in addition to being at least 18 years old on the date of appointment.

Applications for the public competition of the City Council of Maceió must be made through the official Cebraspe website, the organizing institution of the competition, until 6 PM on April 17 of this year.
The application fees are R$ 175 for competing for high school positions and R$ 200 for competing for higher education positions, with the exception of the Legislative Prosecutor position, where the application fee is R$ 225.
However, it is important to mention that there will be a total exemption from the application fee only for candidates supported by Municipal Law no. 7,194, of June 21, 2022. Thus, the first possibility of exemption applies to unemployed individuals, who must present the required documents in the notice, individuals with a per capita income equal to or less than half of the national minimum wage, voluntary blood donors, workers who earn up to one minimum wage per month, beneficiaries of the Bolsa Família program, among others.
Selection Process for the Public Competition of the City Council of Maceió
An exam of skills and knowledge will be applied, involving objective and written tests.
The objective test of the high school and higher education competition will consist of 30 basic knowledge questions and 70 specific knowledge questions. For the Legislative Prosecutor position, the objective test will consist only of 100 specific knowledge questions.
