The capital of Espírito Santo, Vitória, will gain a large venture, as Leroy will begin the construction of its megastore, more precisely in the airport region, in Goiabeiras.
The license for the execution of the works was released by the city hall, and according to the Secretary of City Development, Márcio Passos, the works should start this month and will generate two thousand direct and indirect jobs.

Leroy Merlin is a retail chain of construction materials, finishing, decoration, and gardening.
According to the secretary, the preference for hiring will be for residents of the Greater Goiabeiras area, where the venture will be built, but a project of this magnitude is always beneficial for everyone.

“We are already in talks with the company to use the TrabalhaVix platform for hiring labor. Besides direct hires, there will also be vacancies in third-party companies and for service providers. For the economy of the capital, a venture like this is extremely important because it generates jobs, income, and taxes for the municipality,” he emphasized.

According to information from Leroy itself, 400 workers will be hired, with 178 at the peak of construction, and opportunities will be for positions such as carpenter, bricklayer, painter, among others.

The megastore will have a warehouse with 15,727m² of construction area and parking capacity for 338 cars and 11 motorcycles.
