The Objective of the Agreement Is to Engage Business Leaders in the Integrity Agenda, with a Special Focus on Enhancing Public-Private Relationships
Odebrecht takes another important step in the commitment made to act ethically, with integrity, and transparently. On July 31, Odebrecht S.A., along with other companies in the Group, signed the “Commitment Letter of the Business Movement for Integrity and Transparency”, an initiative led by the Ethos Institute in partnership with the United Nations Global Compact and Transparency International.
The objective of the agreement is to engage business leaders in the integrity agenda, with a special focus on enhancing public-private relationships and strengthening the prevention and fight against corruption in Brazil. In the Letter, the companies undertake seven broad commitments to achieve a culture of integrity in their operational environments and propose a set of actions for the public authority’s responsibility across the three spheres of the federation.
