Honda Is Working Hard on a New SUV Called Civic Cross, the Manufacturer’s Idea Is to Compete with Toyota’s Corolla Cross
In addition to working hard on the ZR-V project, which is pointed as the direct successor to the WR-V, Honda is also striving to develop another SUV, important to retire the Corolla Cross. According to media reports from Japan, this is a mid-size SUV developed to fill a gap between the HR-V and the CR-V. Honda’s model is expected to launch around next year and will base its architecture on the Civic. The model has been informally referred to as Civic Cross, due to its mission to directly rival its compatriot Toyota Corolla Cross.
