The Petrobras Manager Says That This Week About 100 People Will Be Hired. Learn How The COMPERJ Hiring Will Work

COMPERJ will start its first hiring this week for professionals focused on engineering, according to Frederico Doher, the manager of projects at Petrobras, stating that the authorizations will be issued immediately. There will be no mandatory discrimination regarding the location of these professionals, so if you are an engineer with experience in this type of project, you can apply normally. But remember, in this round, only 100 professionals will be called.

According to Frederico, the task force at this very moment will be dedicated to the office team in various engineering modalities, but there will also be civil fieldwork (engineers will have to get their hands dirty too) to set up the construction site, so the construction team members who do not have a high school diploma, stay alert because there will be a small round of hiring at first for you as well to build the site and the offices.

As you already know, on March 22, the consortium between Shandong Kerui and Método Potencial was signed, but most of the hiring will occur through subcontractors, one of which will be IESA, which is already transporting a tower to the Petrochemical Pole, the Process Tower. Furthermore, Petrobras emphasizes that the hiring intermediaries can also occur through regional bodies and unions, such as Sine and Sintramon. When there is a more detailed project from the engineers in the second half of this year, it will be possible to make further hires. In total, for the execution of the works at Comperj, 5,000 workers from various educational levels are expected to be called. The calls will be made continuously, according to demand.
