City Hall opens vacancies in free technical courses with a R$ 300 scholarship for young people from Bataguassu seeking professional qualification.
Residents of Bataguassu aged between 14 and 22 can now apply for one of the 60 vacancies offered by the Young People of Tomorrow Program. The initiative brings together the Bataguassu City Hall (MS), the Casa do Trabalhador, and SENAI-MS to offer free technical training accompanied by a monthly scholarship of R$ 300. The goal is to expand access to professional qualification and create opportunities for entry into the job market.
Classes will be held at the Municipal Technical School (ETEC), allowing participants to study in their own municipality. The proposal aims to serve students who are attending or have already completed high school.
How are the program’s vacancies distributed?
The total number of opportunities was divided between two areas of technical training.

The available courses are:
- Technician in Electrotechnics – 30 vacancies;

The offer aims to serve young people interested in developing skills aligned with the needs of the productive sector, increasing the possibilities of access to formal employment.
SENAI participates in the professional training of students
The program is carried out through a partnership between different local institutions and SENAI-MS. The union of the involved bodies seeks to bring professional training closer to the existing demands in the job market.
In addition to technical training, participants will be prepared for future Young Apprentice opportunities in partner companies.
Thus, the project seeks to create a connection between the learning acquired in the classroom and the requirements found in the professional environment.
Selection process will have evaluation stages
Interested parties must go through a selection process before the start of activities.
After registration, candidates will take a test consisting of questions on Portuguese Language and Logical Reasoning. Those who pass will proceed to the next stages provided by the program.
The selection aims to identify participants qualified to fill the vacancies offered in the two technical training programs.
Free technical courses represent a novelty for the municipality
According to Thiago Natan, Employment and Income Manager at Casa do Trabalhador, the initiative marks an important moment for Bataguassu.
As he highlighted, this is the first opportunity for long-term technical training directed at the youth of the municipality, associated with a financial incentive to support their continued studies.
The proposal seeks not only to offer technical knowledge but also to create conditions for participants to complete the training with monthly financial support.
Vacancies expand prospects for local youth
The municipal secretary of Tourism and Economic Development, Maria Elenir da Silva, emphasized that the program contributes to expanding future possibilities for the city’s youth.
According to her, the partnership was structured to bring professional training closer to concrete employment opportunities, strengthening students’ preparation for market challenges.
Meanwhile, Mayor Wanderleia Caravina stated that the arrival of the project reinforces the objectives that motivated the creation of the Municipal Technical School.
For the manager, investing in youth qualification also means strengthening the generation of opportunities within the municipality itself.
ETEC was chosen as the location for the courses because it was created precisely to expand access to professional training in Bataguassu.
With the offer of classes in the municipality, students do not need to travel to other cities in search of technical qualification. This structure facilitates access to education and expands the reach of the opportunities provided by the program.
How to enroll in the free technical courses?
Registrations are free and can be made through the platform provided by SENAI.
The program is exclusively for young people between 14 and 22 years old who are enrolled in high school or have already completed this educational stage.
With 60 vacancies distributed between two areas of training and a monthly scholarship of R$ 300, the Programa Jovens do Amanhã emerges as an alternative for those seeking technical qualification and preparation for future professional opportunities in Bataguassu.
