The Safe Eurus is a semi-submersible platform for harsh environments, technologically advanced and efficient, with dynamic positioning, delivered by COSCO Offshore Co. Ltd. in May 2019. In addition to a large open deck area, the vessel will provide Petrobras with a lifting capacity of 300 tons.

In May 2019, the Safe Eurus was contracted by Petrobras for a firm period of three years, starting in the fourth quarter of 2019, for offshore security support and maintenance operations in Brazil.

About the Capacity of the Safe Eurus

With 500 beds, a maintenance system with the follow target software installed, allowing connection to other floating facilities, and a 10-point chain mooring arrangement, the vessel is designed to provide maximum flexibility and cost efficiency during global operations in the most adverse offshore environments.

It features an open deck area of approximately 1500m², Liebherr electro-hydraulic cranes of 50 and 300 tons, and provides excellent maintenance, construction support, and heavy lifting capacity.
