The Peugeot 3008 Electric Debuts in Brazil with Modern Visual SUV Coupe Style, Technological Dashboard with Curved Screen and an Impressive Range of Up to 700 km in the Intermediate Version. Launch Confirmed for 2025!
The future of SUVs has already arrived in Brazil. The Peugeot 3008 Electric, now in its third generation, promises to revolutionize the market with modern design, advanced technology, and a range that makes anyone rethink the concept of mobility. Let’s understand why this model is one of Peugeot’s biggest bets for 2025.
A New Concept: SUV Coupe with Impressive Range
The Peugeot 3008 Electric has gained a completely renewed look, following the trend of SUV coupes. The model combines elegant lines with a sporty touch, providing not only style but also aerodynamic efficiency.
The front of the e-3008 is marked by thin headlights with three vertical stripes, named “lion claws” by Peugeot. This feature integrates with the camouflaged front grille, enhancing the brand’s DNA. At the rear, the taillights also feature three elements, connected by a black bar that highlights the name “Peugeot” in full.

Harley-Davidson created an entry-level motorcycle that seems impossible for those who only know the brand’s big bikes: the X440 uses a 440 cc single-cylinder engine, delivers 27 hp, 38 Nm, a declared fuel consumption of 35 km/l, and showcases a small, rational, and much more accessible Harley in India.

GAC Aion UT lands in Brazil for R$ 135,990 as the most affordable electric car in the country with over 200 hp, surpasses BYD Dolphin in size, features a 360 camera, and offers up to 310 km of range to challenge Chinese rivals.

Mitsubishi confirms the triumphant return of a car beloved by Brazilians that was discontinued after almost 40 years, based on the Triton, 4×4, and targets rival Toyota Land Cruiser in a plan of 13 SUVs.

The look is not just aesthetic, but functional. The luminous features reinforce the car’s presence at night and bring a futuristic air. The coupe shape and wheels inspired by the 208 and 2008 models complete the sophisticated visual.
State-of-the-Art Technology and Futuristic Interior in the Peugeot 3008
Getting into the new Peugeot 3008 is like boarding a vehicle from the future. The cabin has been redesigned to offer comfort and modernity.
The highlight of the interior is the curved screen that serves as the instrument panel and multimedia center. This innovation leaves the design cleaner, while the premium finish reinforces the feeling of exclusivity.
The iconic low-positioned steering wheel, a characteristic of Peugeot models, is still present, ensuring ergonomics and a privileged view of the dashboard.
Engine and Range: What Can Brazil Expect?
The Brazilian market is expected to receive the intermediate version of the Peugeot 3008 Electric, called Electric 230 Long Range. With a range of up to 700 km, this configuration is ideal for long trips without the need for frequent recharging.
Equipped with a 230 hp engine and a 98 kWh battery, this version is perfect for those seeking performance and practicality. Despite the heavier battery, it maintains a balanced acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.9 seconds.
In Europe, the e-3008 has two other versions: an entry-level version with a range of 525 km, and a top-of-the-line version with all-wheel drive and a 320 hp engine. However, the intermediate range makes more sense for Brazil due to the limited recharging infrastructure.
Expectations for the Brazilian Market
With a launch expected in 2025, the Peugeot 3008 Electric is set to follow the strategy of the e-2008, being marketed in the GT trim level.
Although the price has not yet been revealed, the SUV is expected to be positioned between premium electric models and traditional SUVs. The target audience includes consumers seeking advanced technology and environmental concern.
Among the main rivals of the Peugeot 3008 Electric are the Volvo XC40 Recharge and the BYD Tang, both electric SUVs with similar proposals. However, the coupe design and extended range may give the e-3008 a competitive advantage.
