Remember the square Fiat Uno engine? Well, it's the same one that equips the Fiat Mobi. The oldest engine in Brazil, the four-cylinder Fire 1.0 Flex with 74 hp

The list of cheapest new cars in Brazil often varies between the same models. For a long time, Renault topped this list with the Kwid, however, recently, the price of the hatchback has gone up. Now the belt of cheapest car in Brazil belongs to the new Fiat Mobi Like 2025, with a list price of R$74.990, which can be purchased for R$61.072 in a promotion advertised on the brand's official website. In addition to the R$12.100 discount on the table, the subcompact can also be financed with affordable installments.

With this update, the second cheapest new car on the Brazilian market is the Citroën C3, which costs R$76.790.on the brand's website. The Renault Kwid is in third place on this list, with a price of R$ 79.900, on the brand's official website. Although the price difference between the three models is not that significant, several aspects must be considered when choosing which one is the best option for your day-to-day life.

Internally, the Mobi is quite compact, with limited space in the rear seat and the smallest trunk among the three models, with a capacity of 235 liters. Therefore, it may not be the best choice for those who need more space.

Compared to other cheaper cars, the Renault Kwid is 3,73m long, 1,58m wide, 1,48m high and has a wheelbase of 2,42m. Its trunk has 290 liters of capacity, accommodating much more luggage than the Fiat, but still not as much as the Citroën C3, which has a trunk volume of 315 liters.

The Citroën C3, with its dimensions of 3,98m long, 1,73m wide, 1,58m high and 2,54m wheelbase, is the most spacious of the three, including the trunk.

According to Fiat, it is possible to travel 700 km on a single tank!

Remember the square Fiat Uno engine? Well, it's the same one that equips the Fiat Mobi. The oldest engine in Brazil, the four-cylinder Fire 1.0 Flex, has a power of 74 hp and a torque of 9,9 kgfm. According to factory data, with gasoline, urban consumption is 13,5 km/liter and highway consumption is 15 km/liter. With ethanol, the averages are 9,6 and 10,4 km/liter, respectively. According to Fiat, it is possible to travel 700 km on a single tank.

The other two models also have 1.0 flex engines, but with three cylinders. In terms of power and torque, the Citroën C3 has an engine of 75 hp and 10,7 kgfm, while the Renault Kwid offers 71 hp and 10 kgfm.

All three models use a five-speed gearbox, but the Citroën C3 has the most powerful engine, surpassing both the Fiat Mobi and the Renault Kwid in performance.

Since January 2024, Fiat's subcompact has had electronic stability control

Since January, Fiat's subcompact has come with electronic stability control (ESP), in addition to a series of other equipment that became mandatory by law with the turn of 2023 to 2024.

The Mobi 2025 offers various equipment, such as air conditioning, power steering, electric windows and locks, ABS brakes, dual airbags, on-board computer, rear wiper and defogger. In addition, it has a tire pressure monitor and arrow repeaters in the rear view mirrors.

The Trekking version comes with extras such as a roof rack, multimedia center with 7″ screen, wireless Android Auto and Apple Car Play, roof console and height-adjustable driver’s seat. The wheels are 14″ steel in both configurations, but the hubcaps on the Mobi Like are painted aluminum, while those on the Trekking are darkened.

In addition to the differences in dimensions, internal space and engine, the equipment offered in each model also differs. See the table below for a comparison:

Advantage and disadvantage of the three cheapest cars sold in Brazil

When comparing the three cheapest cars sold in Brazil, it is clear that each model has its advantages and disadvantages. While the Mobi offers a more affordable price and cheap maintenance, the Kwid stands out with more interior space. On the other hand, the Citroën C3 provides greater power and space, although its finish leaves something to be desired.

When choosing the best car for your daily life, it is important to consider your individual needs in terms of space, performance, fuel consumption, comfort and price.

Stellantis wants to spread cheap electric cars around the world

In a market increasingly focused on electric and sustainable solutions, Stellantis, the conglomerate to which Fiat belongs, announces ambitious plans. The focus on affordable electric cars is consolidated as a key strategy in the face of current environmental and economic challenges.

This announcement puts Fiat and Stellantis at the forefront of affordable electrification, promising a significant impact on the global automotive market.

Exactly. These sites are rubbish with so many ads popping up in front of you, and you can't even find the close button. How annoying. Are these people really that stupid that they don't realize the TRASH that this entails? I've never read the ads. I hate them so much.

On my smartphone, I removed all the advertising sites, and I read everything normally, but there are many more of these advertisements that come with viruses that destroy your cell phone.

I have a mobi trekking 2021.
Application work.
256.000 km driven. Engine working normally.
This fire engine is excellent.

It's a shame the price went up so much.

I need to change it, but I'll wait about 4 months.

Another **** for the streets of Brazil, with so much wealth and offering killing machines to the people, what day will a 74 hp engine be useful on a highway in Brazil. This horrible Kwid is enough!

It's a city car, not for the highway. The problem is that Brazilians buy city cars and want to drive on the highway.

You have to have a city car, another for the highway, another for the countryside, another for the mountains, another for parking, another for the snow, etc. etc.

Maybe you haven't traveled with a Mobi, but I traveled from Natal to Brasília via Barreiras and I can assure you that these 74 hp make the car drive like a big boy, it's very smart, economical and best of all, the front seat never gave me back pain even after driving for 2 days.
Of course it's not a BMW but for the cost/benefit, it's excellent.
