In a world where remote work is becoming established and redefining how companies and professionals connect, Nike stands out as a notable example.

The sportswear giant has opened 331 positions for roles that can be performed from anywhere in the world, and yes, that includes Brazil.

Imagine working for one of the most iconic brands on the planet without needing to leave the comfort of your home.

But what are the requirements, and how does this opportunity fit into the global transformation of the job market? Read on to find out.

Positions and Possibilities

According to updated information from Nike’s official website, the positions are distributed across various fields such as technology, marketing, sales, and design, covering everything from entry-level to leadership roles.

The company, which started as a small shoe distributor in 1964 and now holds a central position in the sports sector, now offers the possibility to join its team without the need for a physical move.

Among the highlighted positions are machine learning engineer, director of apparel product design, lifestyle design specialist, and global men’s sports style manager.

To ensure the flexibility that remote work allows, some positions may require the candidate to reside in the country of the position, as remote work regulations can vary.

Still, many positions are open for professionals from anywhere in the world, including those residing in Brazil.

The Remote Work Revolution at Nike

Nike’s initiative to offer over 500 remote job opportunities reflects a global shift in how work is structured.

This model, accelerated by the pandemic, is here to stay and transform the job market, allowing companies to reach talent from anywhere in the world.

For large companies like Nike, this model not only increases team diversity but also promotes innovation, as it brings in global perspectives to the teams.

According to Nike, the selection for these positions is careful and values diverse profiles, ready to collaborate remotely on high-impact global projects.

However, some specific requirements, such as residency in the country of operation, may apply to certain positions.

The fields of technology and design, in particular, have a high demand for professionals who can bring innovation and creativity to global projects.

About Nike

Founded in 1964 and inspired by the Greek goddess of victory, Nike has become one of the largest sports brands in the world, headquartered in Beaverton, Oregon, in the United States, with a presence in 190 countries.

With over 79,000 employees, the company holds brands such as Converse and Jordan, which complement its global market strategy.

Nike’s mission is clear: “To bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete in the world.” And according to the company, “if you have a body, you are an athlete.”

How to Apply

To apply for one of the 331 remote positions at Nike, interested parties should access the company’s career portal, using filters to simplify the search by country, industry, and experience level.

The company also recommends keeping the LinkedIn profile updated, as this social network is widely used by Nike recruiters, according to information provided by the company itself.
