Federal Institute Opens New Public Contest with 41 Job Vacancies for Technicians and Professors! Registrations Start Soon!
Last Friday, (12/27), the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Sul (IFRS) published two notices announcing the public contest for filling 41 job vacancies. The opportunities are for positions of Professor and Administrative Technician, with salaries ranging between R$ 2,667.19 and R$ 10,481.64. Registrations open on January 20 and will last until February 27, 2025.
Areas and Salaries of Job Vacancies for Technicians and Professors
In addition to the salary, selected candidates will be entitled to benefits such as food assistance of R$ 1,000.00, transportation assistance, and preschool assistance of R$ 484.90.
The goal of the Federal Institute is to fill positions in Basic, Technical, and Technological Education, as well as in the Administrative Technical area, in various units in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.

The public contest of the Federal Institute offers 28 job vacancies for professors and 13 for Administrative Technicians.
The positions for professors cover areas such as Administration, Agronomy, Biology, Law, Pedagogy, and Nursing.
For Administrative Technicians, the opportunities are for Assistant in Administration, Laboratory Technician (in the areas of IT, Mechanics, and Chemistry), IT Technician, among others.
Salaries vary according to the position and training, ranging from R$ 2,667.19 to R$ 10,481.64. All hired personnel will be required to work 40 hours per week.
The Federal Institute also reserves vacancies for people with disabilities and black candidates, promoting inclusion in the public contest.
How to Register for the Federal Institute Public Contest?
Registrations will be conducted exclusively online, through the Fundatec website, with fees ranging from R$ 100 to R$ 200, depending on the position.

Fee waivers may be requested by candidates registered in CadÚnico or bone marrow donors, between January 20 and 24, 2025.
The public contest includes objective tests for all positions. For professors, there will also be a didactic performance test and a title evaluation.
The objective tests will take place on March 23, 2025, in Porto Alegre, Bento Gonçalves, Erechim, and Rio Grande.

Details About the Federal Institute Tests
The objective tests will have questions on Portuguese language, legislation, context of professional and technological education, pedagogical and specific knowledge.
The preliminary answers will be released on March 24, 2025.
