JBS Offers Job Opportunities Abroad Through the JBS Without Borders Program. Discover the Stories of Those Who Have Already Embarked on This Journey and See How to Participate!

Living abroad is the dream of many. Better quality of life, new cultural experiences, and improvement of foreign languages are some of the motivations that spark the desire to transform one’s career. Now, this dream can become a reality thanks to the JBS Without Borders program. Are you ready to embark on this journey?

Dreams Come True

Henrique Mendes da Silva, 27 years old, worked on the production line at JBS in Marabá, Pará. After eight years, he embarked for Canada to pursue an old dream. “When I learned about the opportunity, I was thrilled. Living in a first-world country was a rare privilege in my region. I started training and, focused, passed on my first attempt,” he recounts.

Esdras Mota da Silva, 40 years old, married with two children, also saw the program as a chance to turn his career around and improve his family’s life. “Living abroad represents a dream come true and a unique opportunity for my children to learn English,” says Esdras, who also went to Canada with full support from JBS.

Gabriel Antunes Oliveira Lima, 27, always dreamed of living in Australia. In January, he embarked to work in Rockhampton, Queensland, after being approved in the largest selection process of the program, which offered more than 1,500 positions. “Thanks to JBS’s support and my effort, this dream became reality,” celebrates Gabriel.

JBS Without Borders: A Program of Opportunities

JBS, one of the largest food companies in the world, maintains a permanent selection process for employees interested in working in units in the USA, Argentina, Australia, Canada, and the UK. According to the company, the JBS Without Borders program offers the chance to internationalize one’s career, strengthening the global organizational culture.

To participate, it is necessary to have been with JBS for at least 12 months and to have six months of experience in the role. Fluency in English is not required, as JBS, in partnership with the J&F Institute, offers language training. The minimum education required is complete elementary school, along with specific technical qualifications for each position.

Selection Process and Complete Support

All applicants go through an internal selection process. Approved candidates receive guidance and support, including assistance with visas, airfare, and documentation. Created in 2015, the program initially focused on operators from Friboi and Seara for Brooks, Alberta, in Canada. Today, there are positions for all hierarchical levels and departments in JBS units around the world.

Fernando Meller, HR director of JBS Brazil, emphasizes the importance of personal development: “Our mission is to provide an opportunity for a better future for all our employees. The JBS Without Borders program exemplifies our commitment to offering opportunities both in Brazil and abroad.”

How to Apply to JBS

Those interested in joining JBS can access the website jbs.com.br/carreiras, where more than 260 available positions are listed in units and offices in Brazil as of this Tuesday (16) based on checks conducted by the CPG team. For production operator positions, resume delivery must be made in person at the unit.

JBS is the largest employer in Brazil, with over 150,000 employees in the country and 270,000 in factories and commercial units in 24 countries. If you are looking for an opportunity to grow professionally and experience new things, JBS Without Borders may be the path to transforming your life.
