Brazilian Army Offers a Unique Opportunity for Those Who Wish to Join the Armed Forces, Without the Need for a Traditional Competition, with Simple and Direct Requirements.

The Brazilian Army has a unique opportunity for those who wish to join the Armed Forces without the need for a public competition.

The 2nd Military Region (2nd RM) published two convocations for the selection of Temporary Technical Sergeants (STT), who must have technical training in Administration or Nursing.

This selection will be conducted through a Simplified Selection Process (PSS), with registrations open until April 25, 2025.

The Brazilian Army offers an alternative way to join, without the need for a traditional public competition.

This selection process is aimed at individuals who hold a diploma from technical courses recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC). Applications can be made exclusively on the official website of the 2nd RM, without any fees.

What Are the Requirements to Participate in the Selection?

Those interested in participating in the PSS must meet some specific requirements established in the announcement. To apply, candidates must:

  • Be at most 40 years, 11 months, and 29 days old on the date of incorporation;
  • Be Brazilian, natural or naturalized;
  • Hold a diploma of completion of a technical course, recognized by the Ministry of Education (MEC).

Important: diplomas from higher education or postgraduate courses that are not specifically related to the fields of Administration or Nursing will not be accepted.

This means that only those who completed the required technical courses will have access to the selection process.

Steps of the Simplified Selection Process (PSS)

The PSS will be divided into several stages, and the selection will occur both in-person and electronically, as detailed below:

  • Step I – Registration and Application: Registration will be conducted online, on the 2nd RM website, from April 7 to 25, 2025;
  • Step II – Document Evaluation: This will take place in-person to confirm that the presented documents are correct and complete;
  • Step III – Complementary Heteroidentification (HC): Identity verification phase to ensure the authenticity of the information;
  • Step IV – Health Inspection (IS): The candidate’s health will be assessed according to the standards required by the Army;
  • Step V – Physical Fitness Test (EAF): Physical assessment to ensure the candidate has the necessary endurance for the Army functions;
  • Step VI – Designation: Stage where candidates are assigned to the operational units;
  • Step VII – Complementary Selection: The final selection will be conducted based on a complete analysis of candidates’ data and performance.

In addition, there will be a moral integrity check throughout the selection process, ensuring that candidates meet the ethical and conduct requirements demanded by the Army.

Physical Fitness Test: Challenges and Requirements

The Physical Fitness Test (EAF) will be one of the decisive moments for candidates.
It will be conducted over two consecutive days and have the following minimum requirements:

For Men:

  • Push-ups: 10 repetitions;
  • Supine Sit-ups: 20 repetitions;
  • Continuous Run (12 minutes): 1,800 meters.

For Women:

  • Push-ups: 6 repetitions;
  • Supine Sit-ups: 14 repetitions;
  • Continuous Run (12 minutes): 1,600 meters.

The physical fitness stage is one of the greatest challenges for candidates, as it requires endurance and adequate physical preparation.
Therefore, it is essential that those interested prepare in advance to ensure their success in this phase of the process.

Available Vacancies and Required Courses

The selection process is aimed at those with technical training in the fields of Administration and Nursing.
The available vacancies are:

  • Technical in Administration;
  • Technical in Nursing.

These areas were specifically chosen due to the need for qualified personnel to perform strategic functions within the Armed Forces.

Therefore, candidates with training in these areas have an excellent opportunity to join the Army without needing to go through a traditional competition.

Registrations Open Until April 25, 2025

Registrations for the selection process are open until April 25, 2025, and interested candidates must apply exclusively through the official site of the 2nd Military Region.

There are no registration fees, making this opportunity even more accessible to all candidates within the required profile.

If you are up to 40 years old and have technical training in Administration or Nursing, this could be a unique chance to integrate the Armed Forces temporarily, without the need to take a traditional public competition.

The Brazilian Army provides this opportunity transparently and accessibly, with a well-structured selection process divided into clear stages.

Why This Opportunity in the Army is an Excellent Option?

Participating in this selection process offers a range of advantages.

In addition to joining the Armed Forces, selected candidates will have the chance to work in a prestigious environment, with exclusive benefits and the possibility of professional growth within the institution.

The Brazilian Army has a solid structure and offers its members a career with security and stability, as well as various qualification programs.

This selection also represents a great opportunity for those seeking an alternative way to enter public service, without the need for a traditional competition.

With a simplified and accessible selection process, the Army opens its doors to qualified professionals in the fields of Administration and Nursing, ensuring diversity and continuous improvement in training its team.
