The New Ambev Factory Promises to Create More Than 300 Direct Jobs and Over 2,000 Indirect Jobs and Transform Carambeí into an Important Brewing Hub.
The Ambev is investing R$ 870 million in a new bottle factory in Carambeí, in Campos Gerais, Paraná. Governor Carlos Massa Ratinho Junior visited the plant, which is already 80% completed and is expected to start operating in 2025. This project places Paraná as the first state with “from field to glass” production by Ambev, positively impacting the entire production chain.
The new Ambev factory will produce bottles of different sizes and colors, such as long necks, 300 ml, 600 ml, and 1 liter, focusing on premium labels like Spaten, Corona, Stella Artois, and Original. The forecast is to manufacture up to 1,500 bottles per minute, reaching 15 million per month.
Over 2,000 Indirect Jobs with the New Ambev Factory
About 2,000 people worked on the construction of the factory, which will generate 170 direct jobs and up to 2,000 jobs considering the entire production chain. Carambeí’s mayor, Elisangela Pedroso, highlighted that the new factory is a milestone for the city, which hadn’t received new industries in nearly 30 years.
