The Senac, in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, has just released over 1,600 spots in free courses. Classes are online, with certification and easy access in several states. See now how to take advantage of this opportunity before the spots run out!

Interested parties have until April 6 to enroll in the vocational training offered in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism

The National Service for Commercial Learning (Senac), in conjunction with the Ministry of Tourism (MTur), has opened 1,630 free spots in online professional qualification courses with certification.

The opportunities are aimed at candidates with per capita family income of up to two minimum wages, with the goal of expanding access to vocational education in the country.

The courses cover strategic areas for the job market, such as tourism, gastronomy, languages, and customer service.

Enrollment is open until April 6, and the selection process will be carried out on a first-come, first-served basis, making it essential to secure a spot as soon as possible.

After all spots are filled, other candidates will be automatically placed on a waiting list.

Diversity of Courses Focused on Employability

The program provides training in high-demand sectors, especially in the country’s tourist regions.

Among the courses offered are: “Amazon Cuisine”, “Quality in Tourist Service”, “Introduction to Libras”, “Spanish Applied to Tourism”, and “Tourist Information Agent”.

Each candidate can enroll in only one course per CPF.

The minimum requirement for participation is complete elementary education, although some courses require higher education, as specified at the time of registration.

The initiative aims to train qualified labor to meet the growth of the tourism and services sector in Brazil, especially in cities that host large events or have a natural vocation for ecological, gastronomic, and historical tourism.

Courses Are Recognized and Include Free Certification

The courses are conducted 100% online, with flexible schedules, allowing workers and students to organize according to their routines.

Upon completing the training, participants who meet the workload and achieve satisfactory performance receive a nationally recognized certificate.

According to education sector specialists, free certification can increase employability chances by up to 30% in areas such as tourism and hospitality, especially in the North and Northeast states of Brazil.

According to recent data from the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), over 8.5 million Brazilians are seeking employment, and programs like those offered by Senac significantly contribute to reducing this number by qualifying professionals for expanding areas.

Expanded Access in 23 Brazilian States

The program serves candidates in 23 federative units, including the states of Alagoas, Amazonas, Amapá, Bahia, Ceará, Federal District, Espírito Santo, Goiás, Maranhão, Mato Grosso, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará, Paraíba, Pernambuco, Piauí, Paraná, Rio de Janeiro, Sergipe, São Paulo, Roraima, Rio Grande do Sul, and Tocantins.

The final enrollment must be done in person, at the location indicated during registration.

Candidates who do not show up will be automatically disqualified and will lose their spot.

It is important to carefully check all specific requirements for each course, including minimum age, education level, and necessary documentation.

Vocational Education as a Tool for Social Transformation

In addition to providing qualification, the project has a strategic role in inclusion.

By prioritizing low-income individuals, Senac promotes the democratization of vocational education and prepares workers for sectors that continue to grow, even in challenging economic scenarios.

According to specialists, technical training is one of the quickest alternatives for reintegration into the job market, as well as opening doors for self-employment and service provision independently.

Tourism, in particular, has been one of the sectors experiencing the fastest recovery post-pandemic, with rising demand for bilingual professionals, specialized guides, regional cooks, and qualified attendants.

How to Enroll in Senac Free Courses

To secure a spot, interested individuals must access the official Senac page (the link is available on the Ministry of Tourism portal or on the Senac channels in each state) and fill out the registration form.

It is necessary to provide complete information, choose the course of interest, and indicate the in-person unit for enrollment, which will be mandatory.

Senac recommends frequently checking the provided email, as all communications will be made there.

Enrollment ends on April 6, or earlier, if all spots are filled.

Therefore, it is ideal not to leave it until the last minute.
