Management and Investments
The management will be under the responsibility of NIAD Shopping Centers, a company that also manages projects in states like Espírito Santo, Goiás, Paraná, Rio de Janeiro, and the Federal District. The company’s operations director, Ulisses Silva, stated that more than half of the stores already have signed contracts.
According to estimates, the shopping center is expected to generate around 1,200 direct and indirect jobs and move approximately R$ 200 million per year in the regional economy. This information was reported by Correio 24 horas, which highlighted the importance of the project for the city.
Why Luís Eduardo Magalhães?
The choice of the city as the site of the project is linked to its economic growth. With an estimated population of 108,000 inhabitants, the municipality ranks fifth in the GDP ranking of Bahia and sixth in GDP per capita.
In addition to local residents, about 40% of visitors are expected to come from neighboring cities, reinforcing the role of Luís Eduardo Magalhães as a regional hub for commerce and services in western Bahia.
