New Cheap Toyota SUV Launches Abroad For Less Than R$ 50 Thousand. The New Toyota SUV, Taisor, Promises To Deliver Up To 100 Hp Of Power And Several Standard Features.
After the initial reveal through teasers last Monday (1), Toyota officially announced the launch of the Urban Cruiser Taisor 2025. Designed specifically for emerging markets, this affordable SUV from Toyota is the result of a strategic partnership established with Suzuki in India, being a direct evolution of the Fronx model.
Toyota Taisor SUV Delivers A Lot Of Technology And Standard Features
The manufacturer promises this will be Toyota’s cheapest SUV in the country and will compete directly with Hyundai Venue, Renault Kiger, and Nissan Magnite. In the same vein as the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, which is a rebadge of the Grand Vitara and rivals the Hyundai Creta, Volkswagen T-Cross, and Kia Seltos, the cheap Toyota SUV maintains the same overall structure of the original model (Fronx).
The difference with the Toyota Taisor lies in elements such as a redesigned front grille, new 16-inch wheels, a palette with new body colors, shiny accents in some details, and daytime running lights with a new signature.

Brazilian SUV Market Will Receive News
In addition to this new Toyota SUV, last week the media reported that GM was about to launch the New Generation Chevrolet Equinox SUV with hybrid engine in the Chinese market. After all, contrary to initial plans, the brand decided to backtrack and focus only on electric cars.
This time, other information was released, and the new SUV from the brand, sold in the Asian country, will indeed have a plug-in electric motor paired with a 1.5-liter combustion engine. In Brazil, where it is expected to go on sale starting in 2025, it will come through Mexico.
The model will feature a 1.5 turbo gasoline engine with 170 horsepower and an electric unit with 188 horsepower. Combined power data has not yet been released. Regardless, it can already be stated that the new SUV from the brand takes 6.8 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h.
