Offshore Compressor Maintenance Technician III | Macaé | RJ
The professional selected for the position of Offshore Compressor Maintenance Technician III will play a key role in the company’s operations in Macaé. Responsibilities include leading and executing the commissioning of air compressors (both oil-free and lubricated), diesel tanks, hoses, and pressure vessels. Daily tasks will involve conducting predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance, adjusting working pressure, and checking adsorption and refrigeration dryers. The technician will also be responsible for diagnosing and resolving medium-complexity failures, such as issues with fuel injectors and electronic boards, in addition to installing, maintaining, and monitoring equipment under load and relief to ensure maximum efficiency. Other important tasks include programming compressor control modules, completing detailed technical reports, conducting technical visits for project outlining, and installing telemetry systems.

Job Requirements
To qualify for this job vacancy announcement, candidates must have a complete high school education and a technical course in the electrical field. Intermediate knowledge in electrical, electronics, and diesel mechanics is required, along with familiarity with grounding systems. The professional must be skilled in sizing generator sets, knowledgeable in PLC programming, electrical commands, RCM (Reliability-Centered Maintenance), and experienced with measuring instruments such as TTR, Megohmmeter, and Hipot. Knowledge in protection study and selectivity, as well as the ability to perform high-voltage installations safely, are essential.
