On Friday (14th), the long-awaited announcement for the Federal Regional Court of the 1st Region (TRF1) contest was published, a great opportunity for those seeking the long-desired public position.
This court covers the Federal District and several states in the North, Northeast, and Midwest, such as Acre, Amapá, Amazonas, Bahia, Goiás, Maranhão, Mato Grosso, Minas Gerais, Pará, Piauí, Rondônia, and Roraima.

Salaries and Benefits
The initial salaries range from R$ 8,529.65 to R$ 13,994.78 for a 40-hour workweek. In addition to the salary, those approved will be entitled to various benefits, including:

- Childbirth assistance: R$ 718.58
- Health assistance: R$ 579.39
Who Can Apply for the TRF1 Contest
To apply, it is necessary to meet some requirements, such as:
- Being a Brazilian or Portuguese national with civil and political rights recognized in Brazil
- Being at least 18 years old by the date of hiring
- Having a completed higher education degree
- Being up to date with electoral obligations and, for men, with military obligations
- Meeting the specific requirements for the desired position
The Stages of the Contest
The selection process for the TRF1 contest consists of several stages. In addition to the traditional objective and essay tests, which are eliminatory and classificatory, some positions also require a title examination, which is classificatory, and a physical fitness test, which is eliminatory and classificatory.
When Will the Test Be and How to Enroll
Individuals interested in participating in the contest should access the website of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV), the organizing institution of the contest, starting June 19 of this month.
Applications, which will last until July 27, are made through the payment of a fee ranging from R$ 90 to R$ 120, depending on the position.
Unemployed individuals or those registered in the Unified Registry for Federal Government Social Programs (CadÚnico) can request a fee waiver until June 21, 2024. The objective test is scheduled for September 29, 2024.
