Vale has opened applications for a new edition of the Professional Training Program 2026, an initiative developed in partnership with the National Industrial Learning Service (Senai) that offers free technical training, CLT contract, and a monthly salary of up to R$ 2,225 for candidates from Minas Gerais and Espírito Santo.

According to the program’s official page, applications can be submitted from April 24 to June 30, 2026, in an online selection process composed of eliminatory stages until the admission of the approved candidates.

To participate, the company informs that interested parties must be over 18 years old, have completed high school, and reside in the locations covered by the selection.

With an approximate duration of 18 months, the program includes theoretical classes, the use of advanced simulators, and practical training in the company’s operations.

The training is directed towards technical-operational activities related to mining, railway, port, and plant.

In addition to free training, participants approved in the selection process join the program with a formal employment relationship.

According to Vale, those selected will have a CLT contract, base salary of R$ 2,225, and benefits that vary according to the location of operation.

Free technical training with salary and benefits

The Professional Training Program aims to prepare workers for operational roles in Vale’s industrial routine.

The training takes place in partnership with Senai, an institution linked to professional training and courses aimed at the industrial sector.

Throughout the learning journey, students go through a theoretical stage and then proceed to practical activities at the company’s units.

According to Vale, the methodology provides for training with a practical focus and the accompaniment of specialized tutors in operations.

The program also includes the so-called On The Job Training, known by the acronym OJT, a modality in which learning takes place within the real work environment.

According to the company, this stage allows direct contact with industrial processes related to the main subsystems of its operations.

In the theoretical phase, the workload indicated by Vale is eight hours per day during business hours.

During the practical stage, also with eight hours daily, work may occur in shifts and schedules, according to the company’s operational needs.
