A Canadian Explorer Encountered an Abandoned Pipeline in the Middle of the Forest. How Did He Get There? What Happened to This Structure? Discover the Details!
Spending the night in an unusual location is already a challenge in itself. Now, imagine sleeping inside an abandoned pipeline in the middle of a forest.
That’s exactly what Canadian adventurer Steve Wallis did, documenting it all in a video that caught attention on social media.

The Story Behind the Pipeline
The pipeline in question was built with concrete segments and, according to Wallis, has been out of use since the 1970s.

Steel plates removed from old ships are transformed into thousands of iron nails at recycling hubs like those in Pakistan, through a process of cutting, melting, and molding that breathes new life into rusted structures and supplies a significant portion of the country’s steel industry.
It is estimated to be over a century old but was replaced by a more efficient system after suffering from leaks that compromised half of the water transported.
Today, it stands as a vestige of an industrial past amidst the lush nature.

Steve Wallis’s Experience
The discovery of the site was possible thanks to a follower of his channel, who pointed out a hatch leading to the tube.
Upon realizing the possibility of spending the night there, Wallis decided to take on the challenge. Before settling in, he did some improvised cleaning and applied repellent to avoid insects. In the video he recently published, he shares his experience:
“It was a pretty cold night camping in the pipe, but I survived! It was an extremely fun adventure and cool to see an abandoned infrastructure like this.”
The idea may seem risky to many, but for camping and urban exploration enthusiasts, it’s a unique opportunity. The video reveals a claustrophobic yet fascinating environment, reminiscent of a relic lost in time.
