The New Honda WR-V Brazilian Promises To Revolutionize The Segment With Style And Surprising Engine

After many rumors and sightings during testing, it is now official: the new second-generation Honda WR-V will be launched in Brazil. With a significant increase in size and technology, the compact SUV comes to compete directly with models like Fiat Pulse, Volkswagen Nivus, and Chevrolet Tracker.

Built on a new platform, although simplified compared to the City and HR-V, the Honda WR-V offers a more modern and technological car than many competitors. It impresses with its size and dimensions, being close to its larger sibling HR-V. It measures 4.32 meters in length, 1.79 meters in width, 1.65 meters in height, and has a generous wheelbase of 2.65 meters. The trunk accommodates up to 311 liters.

In design, the Honda WR-V features a front with a chrome grille, black piano trim, and full LED headlights. The wheels can go up to 17 inches, and the rear resembles the BR-V model, with LED taillights.

Internal Details And Safety

Inside, the Honda WR-V offers a functional interior, with space for five occupants thanks to the generous wheelbase. Equipment like digital air conditioning, power mirrors, multifunction steering wheel, and an 8-inch multimedia center with wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are present.

In terms of safety, it includes traction and stability controls, six airbags, and in the top-of-the-line versions, collision warning, autonomous emergency braking, and the LaneWatch system, which displays the blind spot on the multimedia screen through a camera in the right side mirror.

The New Honda WR-V Will Be Manufactured In Brazil

The new Honda WR-V will be manufactured in Brazil, in the interior of São Paulo, which should contribute to more competitive prices. The launch is scheduled for the second half of 2024, with estimated prices ranging from R$ 110,000 to R$ 150,000, positioning it below the HR-V.
