The Island of Passion, in Candeias, had the right of occupancy sold in 2023 and features a private beach, pool, sauna, sports court, event area, and helipad
The Island of Passion, located north of Candeias in the Metropolitan Region of Salvador, features a private beach, pool, sauna, court, event area, and helipad on 10,000 square meters. In July 2023, the right of occupancy was sold for R$ 1.3 million.
What changed on the island
Previously called Topete Island, the area became known as the Island of Passion in mid-2023.
The old name referred to the terrain of the place, described by its resemblance to a face.

(VIDEO) Hail covered the highway with a foot of ice and trapped dozens of drivers for over an hour in the interior of São Paulo, where cars skidded without moving and only managed to move after trucks passed, breaking the ice on the road.
Even with the name change, what stands out the most is the structure set up on the island, with leisure spaces, a sports area, and a helipad.
The complex is situated on a 10,000 square meter plot and includes features that are not commonly found in properties of this type.

Sale and registration of occupancy
The Island of Passion was valued at R$ 20 million, but the recorded sale price for the right of occupancy was R$ 1.3 million.
The negotiation took place in July 2023, with the buyer being the company RC Participações, Assessoria e Consultoria Empresarial S.A.
This information is found in a document from the Candeias registry obtained by Metrópoles.
The Secretariat of the Patrimony of the Union confirmed that the island had its first occupancy registration in 1987.
According to the SPU, the situation has remained regular since then, without interruption in the registration.
Who is associated with the Island of Passion
RC is a publicly traded company with a capital of R$ 45.5 million.
This company was acquired by Falcon Multi-Strategy Investment Fund through a contract signed on January 18, 2023.
Falcon belongs to the Haena 808 fund, forming the corporate chain linked to the purchase of the island.
Data from the Securities and Exchange Commission shows that Augusto Lima appears as the sole shareholder of Haena 808.
The consulted information covers the period from March 2023 to December 2025.
Ten people interviewed under confidentiality stated that the island was acquired by Augusto Lima from Eduardo Valente.
A document from the National Civil Aviation Agency shows that Valente transferred to RC the right over the helipad of the island in July 2023.

Extensive renovation after the acquisition
Reports gathered indicate that the Island of Passion underwent a major renovation after the acquisition.
The interventions included the demolition of a large part of the existing structures, including the main house, hospitality facilities, and leisure areas.
The work mobilized dozens of workers during the process of transforming the space.
Merchants and hotel owners in the surrounding area reported having hosted, for months, landscapers and architects involved in the interventions.
These professionals are said to have worked directly on the redesign of the island and its structure.
The images of the property do not show the full extent of the changes made on site. Part of what surrounds the Island of Passion appears in official records and accounts from people who followed the movement after the purchase.
Structure and value of the property
Even before the renovation, the Island of Passion already gathered a rare combination of items in a private area.
The location has a beach with crystal-clear waters, a swimming pool, a sauna, a sports court, an area for shows, and a helipad.
The presence of these elements helps explain why the island was valued at R$ 20 million.
The difference between the valuation and the amount paid for the right of occupancy is one of the central points of the case.
Augusto Lima’s defense stated that he would not comment. Eduardo Valente was also contacted but did not respond.
