100% Of The Workforce At Comperj By Kerui Metodo Is From The Region, Company Says In Official Statement

Kerui Metodo Said This Wednesday That It Has Managed to Incorporate Only Residents Belonging to Conleste in Its Entire Construction Team for the UPGN of Comperj, Achieving 100% Local Workforce.

The Comperj through Kerui Metodo, has achieved a major milestone today. It has finally completed its operational staff with 100% of workers who come from the municipalities surrounding the enterprise, Conleste (Intermunicipal Consortium for Development of Eastern Fluminense).

The CONLESTE currently brings together municipalities in the Fluminense area impacted by the COMPERJ in the following regions:

  • Metropolitan East of the State (Niterói, São Gonçalo, Itaboraí, Rio Bonito, Maricá, and Tanguá)
  • Coastal Lowlands of the São João Basin and the Lakes Region (Cachoeiras de Macacu, Casimiro de Abreu, Silva Jardim), Araruama, Saquarema, Cachoeiras de Macacu)
  • Two from the Baixada Fluminense (Guapimirim and Magé) and two from the Fluminense Mountain Region (Nova Friburgo and Teresópolis).

“KM Stays Committed! Today (13) we have 100% direct workforce from the Conleste region. Our staff increased by approximately 20% in January 2019, with the hiring of direct workers such as bricklayers, rebar workers, helpers, carpenters, scaffolders, and operators.” The company stated in an official note, according to its post below:

At this very moment, the works of Comperj are in the site preparation phase, being executed by employees of the companies KERUI MÉTODO, MIP ENGENHARIA. According to a well-informed source who is facing the main facts of the enterprise, the portal Comperj Online, starting in March when the site is ready, the next phase of the projects will begin.
