Hydro, a company that operates in the mining sector, opened 70 job opportunities in its Young Talents Program

Norsk Hydro ASA is a Norwegian aluminum and renewable energy company based in Oslo. It is one of the largest aluminum companies in the world. In Brazil, in 2010, Hydro bought the assets related to the production of bauxite, alumina and aluminum from Vale SA Today, the company in the mining sector, opened 70 job openings for students who are studying or have completed high school.

The selected candidates will work at Mineração Paragominas, in the bauxite mine. Young people between 18 and 22 years old, completed by May 2021, can register until January 22nd.

André Gazzinelli, Recruitment Manager at Hydro, says that “Hydro and Mineração Paragominas invest in the professional development of young people in the region of Paragominas. By joining the program, they have the opportunity to develop skills for the job market and add value to their curriculum. The inclusion of young people contributes to building a more viable society and is in line with the company's values”.

Young Talent Program 2021

Requirements:

  • High school graduate or studying;
  • Have availability of 6 hours;
  • Basic computer skills;
  • Be 18 to 22 years old (Completed by May / 2021);
  • Not having been selected in the Young Apprentice program before;
  • Attach proof of address, Proof of Education (If already completed), Voter Title, Resume and Identity Document.

Activities:

  • Attend classes in the basic learning class on the premises of SENAI – Paragominas;
  • Be assiduous in classes and professional practice at Mineração Paragominas;
  • Knowing the procedures (PROs) for acting in the end area, valuing the quality of the process in its area of ​​activity;
  • Be permanently accompanied by an instructor/tutor according to the development and training plan for a specific workforce in the area of ​​expertise.
