With These Adjustments Being Delayed Since 2010, Petrobras Can Now Increase Its Production by Up to 20,000 Barrels Daily
Petrobras now has the approval of ANP (National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels) to complete a unitization adjustment related to the Lula Field, in the quadrant known as South of Tupi, and another sector of the asset in the Santos Basin, which is currently in an open area.
Since 2010, the South of Tupi has been subject to the transition of rights in favor of Petrobras, but only this week did the agency decide to regulate the process.
With this agreement, Petrobras now holds 67.2% in the largest sector of Lula, followed by Shell (23.02%), Galp Energia (9.2%), and Pré-sal Petróleo (PPSA) with 0.6%.
