The Qualiman that is leading the works at the Abreu e Lima Refinery (Renest) has its prelude to resumption announced by Petrobras. After the state-owned company released an official note to the press, more than 1000 workers seeking reemployment in the market showed up at Qualimar to submit resumes, which won the bid to carry out the works at the refinery this year. It took 3 long years of waiting for Petrobras to decide to restart operations at the SNOX construction site.

The contract was signed on March 27, 2017, by Petrobras so that the works could begin immediately, despite having been interrupted for about 3 years. The contractual agreement for the provision of goods and occupational service supplies was sanctioned on the last day 16, in which Qualiman Engineering and Installations will be responsible.

All institutions involved in the process did not want to risk stating an exact number for the amount of people who will be hired, but activities will begin soon. Qualiman, in a meeting with Sintepav this week, listed all the positions and professional qualifications that it will need to carry out activities in road construction infrastructure, paving, and earthworks.
