Dreame presents 6-in-1 tower with four washer-dryers, steam closet, and integrated robot vacuum in a futuristic smart laundry concept.

On April 30, 2026, Chinese company Dreame Technology unveiled one of the most unusual home concepts recently seen in the home appliance sector: a smart tower that attempts to combine full laundry, a steam closet, and a robot vacuum in the same system. The appliance, called Laundry Care L10 Center, was showcased during the Dreame Next event, held in San Francisco, United States.

The equipment drew attention because it abandons the traditional logic of a single washing drum. Instead, the structure brings together four specialized washing and drying modules, a vertical compartment for refreshing clothes with steam, and a robot vacuum hidden in the machine’s base. The proposal is to transform a single appliance into a kind of automated home care center.

Dreame transforms laundry into a smart tower with six integrated functions

The Laundry Care L10 Center was presented as a 6-in-1 home system. The structure combines four specialized washing and drying modules, a vertical steam closet for clothes, and a robot vacuum with an integrated mop at the base of the equipment.

The central idea is to eliminate the need for multiple appliances scattered around the house. According to coverage of the Dreame Next event, the machine attempts to centralize washing, drying, sanitization, clothes refreshing, and floor cleaning into a single connected system.

The proposal represents a radical shift in the traditional concept of home laundry, bringing the appliance closer to an automated home care center.

System uses four different drums to separate regular clothes, intimates, baby clothes, and footwear

One of the most unusual aspects of the concept is the division of washing into multiple independent compartments. The largest drum has an approximate capacity of 10 kg and was designed for general everyday clothes.

In addition, there is a 3 kg module specifically for footwear and two smaller compartments of approximately 2.5 kg intended for intimate apparel and baby clothes.

According to Dreame, the goal is to allow for more segmented washing routines, preventing fabric mixing and expanding cycle customization.

The company attempts to transform the logic of domestic washing into a system similar to industrial textile care lines, where each category receives specific treatment.

How much might it cost abroad, and will it come to Brazil?

The Dreame Laundry Care L10 Center should still be treated as an advanced concept, not as an appliance already sold on a large scale.

At the DREAME NEXT announcement in Silicon Valley, on April 30, 2026, the company described the L10 as a conceptual stage system, with independent units for everyday clothes, intimate apparel, baby clothes, and footwear, in addition to a closet with a heat pump for garment care.

TechRadar reported that the appliance still has no price or release date, while Gizmodo reported that a Dreame representative estimated something above US$ 2,000, but without official confirmation. In a direct conversion, this value would exceed R$ 9.8 thousand, before taxes, shipping, resale margin, and adaptation to the local market.

For Brazil, there is no confirmation of an official launch of the Laundry Care L10 Center; currently, the reliable information is that Dreame already sells robot vacuums in Brazilian retail, but this laundry center with four modules, a steam closet, and a built-in robot vacuum still lacks a national page, official price, or public forecast for its arrival in the country.

Vertical closet uses steam to refresh clothes between washes

Another module integrated into the system functions as a small vertical steam closet. Its purpose is not to deep clean clothes, but to refresh fabrics, reduce odors, and lessen the need for full wash cycles.

This type of technology has been growing in premium home appliances in recent years, especially in Asian markets. The system uses hot steam to act on fibers and improve the appearance of stored clothes.

In practice, the appliance attempts to bring laundry and closet together in a single domestic structure, reducing dependence on frequent ironing and full washes.

Robot vacuum is hidden in the machine’s base and operates in an integrated manner

The lower part of the Laundry Care L10 Center houses a robot vacuum and automatic mop. When not in operation, the equipment remains docked inside the tower’s base, functioning as a charging, emptying, and refilling station.

According to TechRadar’s coverage, the robot does not have a robotic arm to pick up scattered clothes, a capability shown in another experimental concept from the brand, but it still represents an unusual integration between different domestic categories.

This transforms the system into a kind of hybrid domestic hub, combining floor cleaning and textile care in the same appliance.

Dreame tries to move beyond being just a vacuum brand

The presentation of the Laundry Care L10 Center occurred in a broader context of Dreame’s expansion. Originally known for robot vacuums and cordless vacuums, the company has been expanding its operations into multiple technological categories.

During the Dreame Next event, the company also showcased televisions, climate control systems, smartphones, robots, and even automotive concepts.

The strategy seems clear: to create an integrated domestic ecosystem capable of competing with global giants in home technology. The Laundry Care L10 Center appears precisely as a symbol of this ambition to transform Dreame into a “total smart home” company.

Concept still has no official price or launch date

Despite the repercussion, the event’s coverage itself makes it clear that the system still functions more as an advanced concept than a consolidated market product.

To date, Dreame has not disclosed an official price or a definitive international launch schedule. This means that many technical characteristics may still change before eventual large-scale production.

The appliance should be treated as a futuristic technological demonstration, and not as a home appliance already widely available to ordinary consumers.

Chinese manufacturers accelerate race for “total” home appliances

In recent years, Chinese companies have been investing heavily in hybrid appliances and integrated home ecosystems. The logic is to reduce the number of separate devices and create systems connected by artificial intelligence.

Today there are already refrigerators with smart screens, robots with mechanical arms, self-cleaning vacuum cleaners, and automated steam cabinets. The Laundry Care L10 Center takes this trend to the extreme by merging several categories into a single home tower.

This shows that the competition in the home appliance market is no longer just about power or energy efficiency, but has shifted to involve total smart home integration.

Given concepts like this, do you believe that future homes will truly have single machines capable of concentrating almost all domestic cleaning, or does the complexity of these systems still make it more practical to continue using separate appliances?
