Aeronautics Opens Competition for Sergeants with 206 Vacancies in Technical Areas. Selection Requires High School Education, Offers Salary of R$ 3,825 and Benefits During the Course.

The new competition from Aeronautics for the Sergeant Training Course (CFS) has 206 vacancies open for candidates with complete high school education.

The selection is open to young people of both genders, aged between 17 and 24 years old until December 31, 2026, without children, dependents, or a stable union.

The opportunities are distributed between general competition (165) and quotas for self-declared black or brown candidates (41).

Aeronautics Exam for High School Level

The exams are scheduled for November 30, 2025, with applications in cities such as Fortaleza, Natal, Recife, São Paulo, Brasília, and Rio de Janeiro.

The assessment will include multiple-choice objective questions in Portuguese, English, mathematics, and physics, requiring theoretical and technical preparation.

Training and Benefits During the Course

The course will be held in a boarding regime at the Aeronautics Specialists School (EEAR), in Guaratinguetá, São Paulo state, with a start date planned for June 28, 2026, and a duration of two years.

During training, students will have access to meals, accommodations, uniforms, medical assistance, and remuneration.

Upon completion, graduates receive the rank of Third Sergeant, with an initial salary of R$ 3,825, in addition to benefits and the possibility of assignment to any unit of the Brazilian Air Force (FAB) within the national territory.

  • Document Validation and Enrollment Qualification

The medical inspection and psychological assessment will take place between February 10 and 26, 2026, according to the official EEAR schedule.

The announcement also details the required physical profile, such as body mass index (BMI) compatibility, abdominal endurance, running, and push-ups, in addition to mental health and compatibility with military values.

Career and Inclusion in Military Service

This is one of the few public selections in Brazil that combines specialized technical education with remuneration and stability from the beginning of the course.

With advancements in military competitions and an increase in racial quotas, the exam aligns with public policies for inclusion and diversity in the Armed Forces.

In previous years, competition exceeded 50,000 applicants per edition, highlighting the importance of early and structured preparation.

How to Register for the Aeronautics Competition

Applications must be made exclusively online, on the AAeronautics Specialists School (EEAR), between June 30 and July 28, 2025.

The participation fee is R$ 95, payable by August 4, 2025, and there is a possibility of exemption according to social criteria established by the announcement.
