PetroRio launched an institutional video today (13) to call for Reservoir Engineers and Reservoir Geologists through its collaborator Thais Borba, a geology specialist for the company for projects and a new cycle of prosperity in the Frade Field, in the Campos Basin. Reservoir Engineer
Main Activities:
- Monitoring production;
- Optimizing production alongside the operations team;
- Evaluating well behavior;
- Formation test analysis;
- Reservoir simulation, including history matching and production forecasting;
- Development plan preparation;
- Estimating reserves, as well as interacting with certifiers;
- Studies for revitalization of mature fields, considering infill wells and EOR techniques;
- Writing reports for ANP, preparing PAT/PAP and BAR.
Main Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering;
- Minimum of 10 years of experience;
- Knowledge in reservoir simulators, CMG suite preferred;
- Knowledge in decline curves, uncertainty analysis, and risk;
- Formation test analysis. Familiarity with Kappa suite is desirable;
- Fluent English.
Geologists
Main Activities:
- Geological characterization of oil fields;
- 3D reservoir modeling, including geostatistics and uncertainty analysis;
- Geomechanics studies;
- Development plan preparation;
- Support to reservoir engineering in defining wells for infill and implementing EOR techniques;
- Identifying and evaluating prospects, along with the geophysics team;
- Supporting well engineering in well project design;
- Geological monitoring during drilling;
- Preparing geological forecasting charts;
- Preparing reports for ANP;
- Asset evaluation.
- Mentoring young professionals.
Main Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology;
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in siliciclastic reservoirs (experience in carbonates will be a plus);
- Experience with geological modeling software, Paradigm Skua/Gocad suite preferred;
- Fluent English.
