Aracaju-SE Urgently Seeks Professional to Fill Position at the Largest Natural Gas Thermal Power Plant in Latin America, UTE Porto de Sergipe I.
Thermal power plant in Aracaju is looking for Pipeline Supervisor to work at UTE Porto de Sergipe I (CELSE/SE). UTE Porto de Sergipe I is set to begin commercial operation in January 2020. The fuel used will be liquefied natural gas, a more efficient and less polluting solution compared to diesel and coal, as it reduces gas emissions by up to 90%.
As previously reported here on Click Oil and Gas, the Porto de Sergipe plant may quadruple the energy production of Sergipe, potentially making it the second-largest state in energy generation in the Northeast. The energy produced by the plant at medium voltage of 25kV is transformed by the step-up transformers supplied by GE into high voltage of 500kV, allowing it to be safely transported to the connection point to the national grid.

Hungarian mothers began confronting electric car battery factories over fears of contaminated water and industrial waste, saying the green industry was poisoning the neighborhood.
The transmission line, which is still under construction, will feature a double circuit to provide more operational safety for energy transmission, significantly reducing blackout risks. There will be 35 km of transmission line to a new connection bay, composed of protection equipment, interconnecting the plant with the Basic Network.
