Trainee Responsibilities
The trainee positions as a maneuver operator at VLI Logistics are aimed at individuals eager to learn and develop their skills in a nationally recognized company.
The role has a daily workload of 6 hours and involves a variety of responsibilities.
The trainee will be responsible for executing coupling and uncoupling maneuvers of trains and railway vehicles, as well as maneuvering trains and railway vehicles.
The trainee will also assist the engineer in forming traction, inspect the train composition and equipment, and oversee the loading and unloading of wagons.
Other responsibilities include using a portable communication radio, assisting in the circulation of railway vehicles, releasing trains, and complying with necessary operational authorizations.
The trainee must also install equipment, perform tests, retrieve lists of wagons from the yard and terminals, operate small vehicles in yards/terminals, and update information in operational control systems, among other activities related to their area of expertise.
