BW Offshore FPSO Operator Signed A Contract With Petrobras For A One-Year Extension For The Leasing And Operation Of The BW Cidade De São Vicente.
Petrobras and BW Offshore expanded the contract from the second quarter of 2019 to the second quarter of 2020, the ship owner said on Tuesday. The BW Cidade De São Vicente was converted by Keppel in 2009. The oil production capacity of the FPSO is 30,000 bbl and the storage capacity is 470,000 bbl.
Itapu: The bidding notice for the hiring of the FPSO for definitive production at Itapu, in the onerous assignment area in the Pre-Salt of the Santos Basin, where the BW Cidade De São Vicente produces under Long Duration Test (LDT), was announced in 2018, to start production in 2020.

BW Offshore is entering the Campos Basin and may acquire 100% of Maromba. Currently, the companies operating these assets are Petrobras (70%) and Chevron (30%).
The Maromba Field Is Located Off The Brazilian Coast, In The Campos Basin, At A Depth Of 160 Meters.
