Positions at BYD are Also Generated During the Construction of the Factory
Considered the largest BYD factory outside China, the unit currently under construction started official work less than nine months ago and is progressing rapidly, generating positions at BYD.
Phase 1.1 of the automotive industry project includes the assembly warehouse for cars in the SKD (Semi Knocked Down) system, the final inspection factory, and the speed and obstacle test tracks. The completion of this phase is expected to begin after Carnival this year.
Subsequently, the construction, which will create several positions at BYD, will focus on phase 1.2, which encompasses the production of electric and hybrid vehicles and will have 28 new buildings and 2 yards. Full production of the models is expected to start in 2025.
