BYD Plans Unprecedented Production at Factory in Brazil with the SUV BYD Song Pro, Reinforcing Commitment to Sustainable Mobility and the Brazilian Economy.
It was announced by BYD last Wednesday, (07/10), that the BYD Song Pro SUV will be the first car made by the brand at its factory in Brazil. The plug-in hybrid model will mark the beginning of operations for the Chinese giant at the new factory in Camaçari (BA), which is expected to start operating later this year.
Details of the BYD Song Pro
The BYD Song Pro arrives in the Brazilian market as a robust SUV, measuring 4,738 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width, 2,712 mm in wheelbase, and 1,710 mm in height.
Equipped with advanced technology, the model incorporates the DM-i powertrain, which combines a 1.5 naturally aspirated internal combustion engine and an electric motor.

The BYD Song Pro GL will be available in the Brazilian market for R$ 189,800, while the GS version will have a starting price of R$ 199,800, with a special condition applicable to the first 3,000 units sold.
Future Models at the Factory in Camaçari (BA)
In addition to the Song Pro, BYD has already confirmed that the Dolphin, Dolphin Mini, Yuan Plus, and Song Plus car models will also be produced at the factory in Camaçari (BA), reinforcing the brand’s commitment to the national market and expanding its presence in Brazil.
