Toyota is well-known in Brazil for established models like Corolla, Hilux, and more recently, the Corolla Cross. However, outside of Brazil, the Japanese automaker offers vehicles that combine performance, sportiness, and bold design — but are cars not sold in Brazil.

We have selected five models that well represent this new philosophy of Toyota and that could be successful if sold here.

5 Toyota Cars Not Sold in Brazil

GR Yaris: The Compact Hatch That Breathes Sportiness

The Toyota GR Yaris is a clear example of the brand’s new phase.

With a turbocharged 1.6-liter three-cylinder engine, it delivers an impressive 261 hp, making it the most powerful in its category worldwide. Lightweight, at only 1,280 kg, the model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.5 seconds.

Additionally, it features all-wheel drive and competition-tuned suspension, reinforcing its rally-oriented DNA.

Although a unit has been seen circulating in tests in the country, it is still not officially sold in Brazil.

Corolla Trek: The Adventurous Wagon That Could Take Up Space

For wagon fans, the Corolla Trek would be a great novelty. Derived from the Touring Sport, it combines the comfort and cargo capacity of a wagon with the adventurous spirit of an SUV.

With increased ground clearance and a robust appearance, it could position itself as an interesting alternative to the Corolla Cross, reviving a segment that Toyota dominated with the former Fielder.

GR86: An Accessible Sports Car Made for Enthusiasts

The new generation of the GR86 retained the characteristics that made its predecessor, the GT86, a success among sports driving enthusiasts.

It is equipped with a naturally aspirated 2.4-liter engine generating 235 hp, rear-wheel drive, and a lightweight body, ensuring a fun and dynamic driving experience.

The model is designed for those who enjoy customization, being offered in base versions that allow for modifications.

However, it has never officially arrived in Brazil, leaving sports car fans waiting.

Tundra: The Giant Pickup That Would Face Heavy Rivals

In the United States, Toyota offers the Tundra, a full-sized pickup that could compete with the Chevrolet Silverado and RAM 1500 in the Brazilian market.

The new generation comes equipped with a hybrid V6 twin-turbo engine, capable of generating 443 hp and an impressive 80.5 kgfm of torque, balancing strength and efficiency.

If it were sold here, it would be a robust and technological option in the large pickup segment.

GR Supra: A Japanese Classic With a German Soul

The GR Supra is an iconic Toyota model that returned to the market with a modern proposal.

Developed in partnership with BMW, it shares components with the Z4 but maintains its own identity.

The coupe brings under the hood a 3.0-liter turbo engine, delivering 340 hp and 51 kgfm of torque.

The rear-wheel drive and the eight-speed automatic transmission complete the package. A manual version is in development, responding to requests from purists.

These five models show that Toyota has much more to offer beyond the vehicles circulating here.

Whether for performance, luxury, or innovation, these Toyota cars capture the interest of Brazilian enthusiasts and reinforce the brand’s global reputation.

Who knows, one day we might see some of them on the streets of the country?
