A second user, analyzing the video in slow motion, noticed an important detail: an object in front of the Scion, possibly a tow hitch, hit a toolbox, creating a small gap that likely prevented Sam’s head from experiencing a direct impact.

- Positioning of Supports: The Scion xA had tow hitch supports projecting from the front bumper. The initial collision was cushioned by the toolbox, which was at a slight angle and received the impact in a way that slightly diverted the car’s direction.
- Precise Alignment: Sam, while positioning himself on the alignment platform, ended up between the bumper supports and the toolbox. The minimal difference of millimeters ensured that the impact was distributed between these points, minimizing injuries.
