New commercial strategy announced in June 2026 reduces prices of important models, offers incentives for customers, and strengthens the competition for space in a market increasingly dominated by electrified vehicles
Mitsubishi Motors started June 2026 with one of the largest commercial campaigns in recent years in Brazil. The Japanese manufacturer announced a broad price reduction in its vehicle lineup, with discounts reaching R$ 55,000 depending on the model and version chosen. Additionally, the brand began offering additional bonuses for trading in used vehicles, reinforcing its strategy to increase competitiveness against the advance of Chinese automakers in the national market.
The information was released by the Autoesporte portal, based on the new official price list announced by Mitsubishi Motors on June 3, 2026. The measure has already come into effect at the manufacturer’s 146 sales points across the country and covers the entire line of Eclipse Cross and Outlander PHEV SUVs, as well as Triton pickups.
According to the automaker, the goal of the action is to reposition its products in the Brazilian market and offer more attractive conditions for consumers seeking SUVs and pickups with technology, safety, and performance.

Strategy aims to counter the advance of Chinese automakers
In recent years, Chinese manufacturers have significantly increased their share in the Brazilian market, especially in the SUV and electrified vehicle segments.
Therefore, Mitsubishi decided to respond with an aggressive pricing policy. By reducing the prices of important models like Eclipse Cross, Outlander PHEV and Triton, the automaker aims to increase its competitiveness and attract consumers who are evaluating different brands before purchasing.
Meanwhile, the bonuses for trading in used vehicles make the offers even more attractive for those intending to replace their current vehicle with a brand-new model.
With discounts reaching R$ 55,000 and additional benefits that can exceed R$ 30,000, the June 2026 campaign puts Mitsubishi in a prominent position in the competition for Brazilian consumers.
And you, would you take advantage of such a big discount to change your car now or do you still believe that vehicle prices might drop more in the coming months?
