New commercial strategy announced in June 2026 reduces prices of important models, offers incentives for customers, and strengthens the competition for space in a market increasingly dominated by electrified vehicles

Mitsubishi Motors started June 2026 with one of the largest commercial campaigns in recent years in Brazil. The Japanese manufacturer announced a broad price reduction in its vehicle lineup, with discounts reaching R$ 55,000 depending on the model and version chosen. Additionally, the brand began offering additional bonuses for trading in used vehicles, reinforcing its strategy to increase competitiveness against the advance of Chinese automakers in the national market.

The information was released by the Autoesporte portal, based on the new official price list announced by Mitsubishi Motors on June 3, 2026. The measure has already come into effect at the manufacturer’s 146 sales points across the country and covers the entire line of Eclipse Cross and Outlander PHEV SUVs, as well as Triton pickups.

According to the automaker, the goal of the action is to reposition its products in the Brazilian market and offer more attractive conditions for consumers seeking SUVs and pickups with technology, safety, and performance.

Mitsubishi expands discounts and offers bonuses for trading in used vehicles

In addition to the new prices, the manufacturer created additional incentives for those wishing to trade in their vehicle. During the month of June, consumers can receive a bonus of up to R$ 29,000 when trading in a used vehicle for a new Mitsubishi.

At the same time, customers who already own vehicles from the brand can receive an extra benefit of R$ 3,000 through the Mit Fidelidade program. In this way, the company seeks to strengthen its relationship with its consumers and encourage fleet renewal.

Mitsubishi made the new conditions available on its official website and stated that there is an expectation to maintain the campaign in the coming months, depending on market response.

Eclipse Cross receives reduction in all versions

The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross 2027 appears among the main beneficiaries of the new commercial policy. The price reduction affects everything from the entry-level versions to the most complete configurations of the line.

The Rush version, for example, dropped from R$ 176,990 to R$ 159,990. Additionally, the buyer can receive a bonus of up to R$ 5,000 when trading in a used vehicle.

The other versions have the following prices:

  • HPE: from R$ 189,990 to R$ 179,990 + bonus of up to R$ 14,000 when trading in a used Mitsubishi.
  • HPE-S: from R$ 220,790 to R$ 209,990 + bonus of up to R$ 14,000.
  • TARMAC: from R$ 194,990 to R$ 184,990 + bonus of up to R$ 14,000.
  • HPE-S 4×4: from R$ 230,990 to R$ 219,990 + bonus of up to R$ 18,000.
  • HPE-S 4×4 Black: from R$ 233,990 to R$ 224,990 + bonus of up to R$ 18,000.

While prices have decreased, Mitsubishi has maintained the mechanical set and equipment of the line. The SUV continues to offer seven airbags, driving assistants, and a multimedia center compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto via Bluetooth.

In the powertrain, the Eclipse Cross uses a 1.5 turbo gasoline engine that delivers 165 hp of power and 25.5 kgfm of torque. Additionally, the model works in conjunction with an eight-speed simulated CVT automatic transmission.

Outlander PHEV registers the largest price cut of the campaign

The plug-in hybrid SUV Outlander PHEV received the largest discounts from Mitsubishi’s new commercial strategy.

The HPE-S version dropped from R$ 379,990 to R$ 324,990, registering a reduction of R$ 55,000. Additionally, the manufacturer offers a bonus of up to R$ 25,000 when trading in a used vehicle.

The Signature version went from R$ 399,990 to R$ 364,990, accompanied by the same bonus of up to R$ 25,000.

The model remains equipped with a robust list of equipment. Highlights include 11 airbags, adaptive cruise control (ACC), a 9-inch multimedia center, a 10.8-inch display, and a 12.3-inch digital panel.

In terms of engine, the Outlander combines a 2.4 gasoline engine with 137 hp and 20.9 kgfm of torque with two electric motors. The front motor delivers 116 hp and 26 kgfm, while the rear produces 136 hp and 19.9 kgfm.

Triton line also joins the commercial offensive

The new generation of the Mitsubishi Triton also joined the discount campaign a few months after the launch of the 2027 line.

Depending on the chosen version, the reduction exceeds R$ 30,000.

The new prices are as follows:

  • GLS AT: from R$ 274,990 to R$ 249,990 + bonus of up to R$ 10,000.
  • TARMAC: from R$ 264,990 to R$ 249,990 + bonus of up to R$ 15,000.
  • HPE: from R$ 303,890 to R$ 275,990 + bonus of up to R$ 26,000.
  • HPE-S: from R$ 330,790 to R$ 299,990 + bonus of up to R$ 28,000.
  • KATANA: from R$ 349,890 to R$ 324,990 + bonus of up to R$ 32,000.
  • SAVANA: from R$ 354,990 to R$ 334,990 + bonus of up to R$ 32,000.

Additionally, all versions retain the 2.4 turbo diesel four-cylinder engine that produces 205 hp of power and 47.9 kgfm of torque.

Strategy aims to counter the advance of Chinese automakers

In recent years, Chinese manufacturers have significantly increased their share in the Brazilian market, especially in the SUV and electrified vehicle segments.

Therefore, Mitsubishi decided to respond with an aggressive pricing policy. By reducing the prices of important models like Eclipse Cross, Outlander PHEV and Triton, the automaker aims to increase its competitiveness and attract consumers who are evaluating different brands before purchasing.

Meanwhile, the bonuses for trading in used vehicles make the offers even more attractive for those intending to replace their current vehicle with a brand-new model.

With discounts reaching R$ 55,000 and additional benefits that can exceed R$ 30,000, the June 2026 campaign puts Mitsubishi in a prominent position in the competition for Brazilian consumers.

And you, would you take advantage of such a big discount to change your car now or do you still believe that vehicle prices might drop more in the coming months?
