In Addition To Internship Positions, Ambev Is Also Offering Scholarships For English, Which Are Exclusively For Black People

The brewery Ambev is offering 300 internship positions and scholarships for English through the Regular Internship and Represent programs, the latter with exclusive scholarships for Black people. The internship positions and scholarships will be filled through a fully online selection process, with applications open until April 4.

During the application for the Regular Internship program, the applicant can choose which unit of the brewery they wish to work in and the area they want to join: Business, Supply, and Technology. In the final phase of the selection process, the candidate will be able to indicate their preferred area of expertise for the judging panel. The only prerequisite for the Regular Internship program is to be in the last two years of college.

Selection Process For Ambev Internship Positions

The selection process for the internship positions and scholarships at Ambev will be interactive and fully online. Logical reasoning tests have been replaced by games and by a video stage in which candidates should not appear on film so that talents are not assessed by gender, college, course, or age.

Game Stage Beyond Labels

The Online Game consists of fluid logic tests to evaluate the candidate’s analytical ability through situational and everyday exercises, without pushing them beyond their limits. In this stage, Ambev will also provide a comprehensive and well-founded feedback report to contribute to the candidate’s personal development process.

According to Ambev’s website, people with disabilities who need accommodations at this stage, such as the removal of time limitations and/or the need for a screen reader, will be moved to an exclusive position that allows them to complete the stage with accessibility. Ambev’s People & Management Director in Brazil, Camila Tabet, comments that “the internship program is an opportunity for university students to deliver results and be involved in projects that generate impact and offer significant development. We want young talents to prepare them to take on various challenges even before they complete their courses.”

English Scholarships

According to Yahoo, the Represent program offers scholarships for English aimed exclusively at Black individuals. Furthermore, the course provides benefits such as financial and legal guidance, extra pay in the first month, psychological support, and mentoring. To compete for Ambev’s scholarships, prior knowledge of the English language is not required.

The internship positions at Klabin Pulp and Paper are being offered through the Geração K and Integra Klabin programs.

With the aim of bringing determined students who aspire to grow and broaden their horizons to the company, Klabin Pulp and Paper has opened two internship programs, totaling 93 positions.
