Technology is advancing rapidly, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) is at the heart of this transformation. A Brazilian company, Cogtive, recently launched TÆLOR, an innovative solution with capabilities comparable to the famous ChatGPT, but aimed at Industry 4.0. This solution is ready to change the game in the industry, providing not only answers but actionable insights for industrial leaders.
TÆLOR: The New ChatGPT for Industry
TÆLOR is a tribute to Frederick Taelor, the father of modern management. This innovative AI solution operates similarly to OpenAI’s conversational AI model, ChatGPT, offering smooth and natural interactions. However, TÆLOR is focused on industry, providing reliable answers to the various issues that arise on the factory floor.
Developed by Cogtive, a company with over five years of experience creating technological solutions for the industrial sector, TÆLOR was created to address a global challenge: the shortage of skilled professionals in the industrial sector.

The Talent Shortage in Industry
Brazil currently ranks 10th in the world in terms of difficulty finding qualified professionals, according to a 2022 survey by ManpowerGroup. This problem has intensified since 2018, with a ten percentage point increase in the lack of qualified professionals last year, reaching 81% in 2022.
This is a challenge for companies, with three out of four facing difficulties in hiring talent. The shortage rate increased from 34% in 2018 to 52% in 2019 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, reaching 71% two years ago.
TÆLOR in Action
Reginaldo Rodrigues, CEO of Cogtive, explains that TÆLOR can assess real-time information available on the industry’s indicator panel. The AI solution was built using the Internet of Things (IoT), collecting real-time information from various equipment and organizing that data into over 70 functionalities to meet the different demands and areas of the industry.
TÆLOR is a powerful tool for identifying bottlenecks, problems, deviations, and failures in the production line. It operates preventively, providing actionable insights for leaders, instead of just information. With over 2 billion products already monitored by Cogtive, TÆLOR is constantly learning and improving.
