Municipal selection in Ibiraçu gathers positions of different educational levels, salaries reaching R$ 10.8 thousand and changes in the schedule after suspension for rectification of the notice, a measure that requires candidates’ attention before any new stage of the public contest.
The public contest of the City Hall of Ibiraçu, in Espírito Santo, was suspended for rectification of the notice, as per the announcement published by the Institute of Development and Training, IDCAP, the bank responsible for the selection.
The measure interrupted the initial schedule, which provided for registrations between May 8 and 28, 2026, and objective tests on June 28.
The suspension occurred after the approval of Municipal Law No. 4.416/2026, which deals with the reservation of vacancies for black, brown, and mixed-race people in public contests and selection processes of the municipal administration.

Public contest in Ibiraçu will have vacancies for all levels
The notice No. 001/2026 of the Municipal City Hall of Ibiraçu was published for the provision of effective vacancies and formation of a reserve register in positions of the municipal administration.
The selection includes functions that require from literacy and elementary education to technical training, high school, and higher education.
According to data from the initial notice, the selection offers 200 immediate vacancies, in addition to a reserve register, and there is no official confirmation of about 700 vacancies in the consulted document.
The opportunities are distributed across different areas of municipal management, such as education, health, operational services, administration, inspection, and technical support.
The remuneration varies according to the position, the required education level, and the expected workload for each function.
Among the lowest reported salaries are those for positions like janitor and laborer, while the highest initial salary expected reaches R$ 10,805.88 for the position of Municipal Attorney.
In addition to the basic salaries, some functions may have additional payments or bonuses provided for in municipal legislation.
The notice also ensures specific rules for certain careers, such as the salary floor for nursing professionals, in accordance with applicable federal and municipal legislation.
Available Positions at the Ibiraçu City Hall
The largest individual offer reported in the initial notice is for MAPA II Teacher, with a 25-hour weekly schedule and 40 immediate vacancies, in addition to a reserve list.
There are also opportunities for positions such as MAPA Teacher, Municipal Attorney, health professionals, drivers, machine operators, and operational support roles.
For candidates with lower education levels, the notice provides for roles such as public service agent, public services assistant, multifunctional service assistant, gravedigger, public works and services officer, janitor, and laborer.
These positions meet essential demands of the administrative and operational routine of the municipality.
At the middle and technical level, the selection includes roles related to service, inspection, administrative support, and specialized services.
At the higher education level, the vacancies cover areas such as education, health, social assistance, legal area, and public management, always according to the requirements described for each position.
Participation is not restricted to residents of Ibiraçu or Espírito Santo.
Candidates from any state can compete for the vacancies, provided they meet the requirements of the notice and are available to carry out the in-person stages provided by the board and municipal administration.
Exams for the Ibiraçu City Hall Contest
The contest will be organized by IDCAP and will have different stages according to the chosen position.
The objective test is planned for all candidates, with an eliminatory and classificatory nature, while other phases will be applied only to specific functions.
For the position of Municipal Attorney, the initial notice provides for a discursive test, also with an eliminatory and classificatory nature.
The positions of Driver and Heavy Machine Operator will have a practical test, a stage aimed at evaluating skills compatible with the functions’ duties.
Higher education positions will also have a title evaluation, of a classificatory nature.
Candidates registered as people with disabilities will undergo a medical examination, a verification stage provided for in the contest rules, according to the norms established in the opening notice.
According to the original schedule, the objective tests would take place on June 28, 2026, in Ibiraçu.
However, as the contest was suspended for rectification, this date depends on the publication of a new official calendar by the organizing board.
The announcement also states that if the number of applicants exceeds the capacity of the available locations in Ibiraçu, IDCAP may allocate candidates to neighboring municipalities.
In this situation, the organizing committee will not cover expenses for transportation, food, or accommodation for the participants.
Validity of the municipal public contest
The validity of the contest will be two years, counted from the approval of the final result in the Official Gazette.
The period may be extended once, for the same duration, as provided in the announcement published by the Ibiraçu City Hall.
Approval within the reserve list does not guarantee automatic appointment.
In these cases, the candidate has an expectation of right, and any call will depend on public interest, administrative need, budget availability, and the validity period of the selection process.
After approval, the acts of calling will be the responsibility of the Ibiraçu Municipal City Hall, according to official publications.
The approved candidate should follow the announcements and keep their information updated to avoid missing deadlines related to appointment and taking office.
How to register for the Ibiraçu contest
Registrations must be made exclusively online when the new deadline is announced by IDCAP.
In the initial schedule, the fees were R$ 60 for elementary level positions, R$ 80 for medium and technical, R$ 100 for higher education, except for Municipal Attorney, and R$ 140 for Attorney.
These amounts may be maintained or adjusted in any amendment, so the official guidance is to follow the republication of the announcement and the updated schedule before proceeding with any action.
