Registrations are open starting this Thursday (15) for the public competition aimed at admission to the Naval School of the Brazilian Navy. Interested candidates can register on the official website of the Navy until March 14.
The registration fee for the selection process is R$100, with exemptions for candidates who belong to families registered in CadÚnico, with a monthly per capita family income equal to or less than half the minimum wage, as well as for bone marrow donors. The exemption request can be made throughout the registration period.
The competition for the Naval School aims to fill 155 vacancies for admission next year, in 2025. The opportunities are divided into 143 vacancies for males and 12 vacancies for females. The student will receive a salary corresponding to the degree, totaling R$1,398.30.

Criteria for admission to the Naval School include being a natural-born Brazilian, aged between 15 and 18 years old by June 30, 2025, having completed or being in the process of completing the 9th year of Elementary Education, and having a height between 1.54 m and 1.95 m.
Phases of The Public Competition of The Naval School
Moreover, the public competition involves six stages. First, an objective written test in Mathematics and English. Then, an objective written test in Social Studies, Science, and Portuguese. There is also an essay, a hetero-identification procedure that assists the self-declaration; and events such as health inspection, psychological exam, physical fitness test, and document collection.
The dates for the written tests for the selection process are as follows. On June 8, the objective written test in Mathematics and English will take place. On June 9, the objective written test in Social Studies, Science, Portuguese, and Essay will occur.
