The State Bank of Sergipe (BANESE) announced a new public competition for 2025, bringing 55 immediate openings and the formation of a reserve list (according to information from Governor Fábio Mitidieri on December 4, 2023). With salaries reaching R$ 5,700, this is one of the most anticipated competitions of the year, especially for offering opportunities for high school and higher education levels. The Cesgranrio Foundation will be the organizing body, ensuring a transparent and quality selection process, according to the Monitor do Mercado website.

Details of the BANESE 2025 Competition

The competition announcement is expected to be published by January 2025, bringing openings for the positions of Banking Technician I and Banking Technician III. The starting salaries range from R$ 3,200 to R$ 5,700, depending on the position and the candidate’s education.

Candidates with completed high school can apply for the Banking Technician I position, while the vacancies for the Banking Technician III are for candidates with higher education, specifically in areas such as Information Technology.

What to Expect From the BANESE 2024 Competition?

Compared to the announcement of the last competition, held in 2022 by the AOCP Institute, the new announcement promises greater diversity of positions and opportunities. In the previous edition, 55 immediate openings and a reserve list were also offered, focusing on Banking Technician III in the areas of Development and Support. The starting salary at that time was R$ 4,840.45.

Additionally, BANESE stands out for valuing inclusion, with vacancies aimed at broad competition, black individuals, and people with disabilities. This inclusive policy is expected to be maintained in the upcoming announcement, promoting a diverse and representative selection.
