The Comperj and its endless controversy of works that never start, a bureaucracy worthy of a fiction book. The deadline for the Comperj and the UPGN to begin operations primarily following Petrobras’ restructuring business plan was 2020, but the state-owned company announced that the project will be postponed to 2023, due to delays in starting the works. Hiring will start at the end of the first semester of 2018. With these new bids, the number of companies operating in the project increases, and consequently, the number of job vacancies as well. For now, Shandong Kerui, Método Potencial, and Chemtech comprise the companies active in the project, with the announcement of the winners of these new bids in the coming months, this number will increase to six.
