Applications for the Military Police Officer Entrance Exam began yesterday, Monday (28). There are 165 available positions, with registration exclusively on the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV) website. The deadline is until June 2.
Requirements and Compensation for the Exam
To participate, candidates must be between 17 and 30 years old, be up to date with their electoral and military certificates, and meet the minimum height requirement: 1.55 m for women and 1.60 m for men. The starting salary is R$ 4,833.27.
The announcement, published in the State Official Gazette last Thursday (24), details all the requirements. The registration fee is R$ 150, which can be paid via Pix or bank slip until the first business day after the end of the applications.

Test Locations and Stages
The tests may be conducted in 11 cities: São Paulo, Araçatuba, Bauru, Campinas, Piracicaba, Presidente Prudente, Ribeirão Preto, Santos, São José do Rio Preto, São José dos Campos, and Sorocaba.
The objective test will be held on July 13 and will consist of 80 multiple-choice questions. The subjects include human sciences and technology, history, philosophy, sociology, geography, languages, mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, public administration, and computer science.
Training and Course
The approved candidates will start in 2026 the undergraduate and bachelor’s degree program in Police Science of Safety and Public Order at the Barro Branco Military Police Academy in the northern region of the São Paulo capital. The training will last four years, with physical and theoretical evaluations throughout the period.
