The Implementation of a New Exam for the Postal Service Has Become a Topic Again in the Institution, Which Held a Meeting This Tuesday (06). On This Occasion, Fabiano Silva, President of the Entity, Highlighted That the Implementation of an Exam Is a Priority for 2024.
According to information from the “g1” portal, the president of the Postal Service met with representatives of the National Federation of Workers in Postal and Telecommunications Companies (Fentect).
On this occasion, these leaders criticized the institution’s delay in holding a new exam. This criticism arises because, since 2011, there has been an impasse in holding an exam aimed at recruiting new employees for the institution.
Postal Service with Few Employees
This delay has caused the Postal Service to have fewer employees every day. Evidence of this is that, from 2011 to now, the total workforce of the entity has fallen from 127,000 to 80,000.

In the view of these representatives, with fewer people, a more stressful working environment is created, which ends up hindering the effective fulfillment of the Postal Service’s responsibilities.
During the meeting, the president of the Postal Service reinforced the idea of publishing an official notice for the institution later this year in 2024. However, on this occasion, he warned that, prior to this publication, it will be necessary to resolve pending issues, including the completion of the new Job, Career, and Salary Plan (PCCS).
