What Are the Requirements and How Much Does a PM PE Earn?
According to the published notice, to compete for the position of Soldier, it is necessary to have a complete high school education, be between 18 and 30 years old, have a minimum height of 1.65m for men and 1.60m for women, and have a driver’s license starting from category B.
The starting salary for a Soldier in this contest is R$ 3,419.88.
For those interested in becoming Officers, the requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Law, a driver’s license starting from category B, a minimum height of 1.65m (men) and 1.60m (women), and an age between 18 and 30 years.
The salary for the position of 2nd Lieutenant is R$ 10,855.91.
Registrations and Fee Waivers for the PM PE Contest
Registrations for the PM PE contest can be made exclusively online, at the AOCP Institute website, during the period from November 13 to December 13, 2023.
The registration fee for Soldiers is R$ 180.00, while for Officers it is R$ 220.00.
Candidates who meet certain criteria may request a full waiver of the registration fee, such as being registered in the Unified Registry for Federal Government Social Programs (CadÚnico) or being a regular blood donor, among others.

Candidates for the PM PE contest will be evaluated through 5 stages, including objective and essay tests, medical exams, physical aptitude tests, and psychological evaluation.
The objective and essay tests are scheduled for January 28, 2024, in different shifts and cities, such as Recife/Metropolitan Region, Caruaru, and Petrolina.
The preliminary official answer keys for the objective tests will be released on the Institute’s website on January 28, while the final results are expected on February 23.
