The Aeronautics Announced Its Newest Public Competition with Vacancies for Candidates with a High School Diploma. Those Approved Will Enjoy a Series of Benefits and Will Be in Internment for Two Years.
The Aeronautics announced the opening of a new Public Competition with 242 spots for the Sergeant Training Course, which will take place in the municipality of Guaratinguetá-SP, in an internment regime. Therefore, candidates who are approved for the high school vacancies must reside in the city for at least two years. However, during this period, the student will receive support from the Aeronautics during their training.
Requirements to Participate in the Aeronautics High School Public Competition
Applications cannot be made yet, but the expectation is that they will start this February. Thus, those who do not want to miss the opportunity should keep an eye on the schedule developed by the Aeronautics.
The public competition has 242 spots for high school candidates for the Sergeant Training Course in seven different specialties, which are:
-
Labor shortage: Switzerland is ‘desperate’ to find 40,000 workers, and Brazilians in this situation can apply.
-
Brazil reaches the lowest unemployment rate in history and launches job openings, internships, and 10,000 free courses in 2026.
-
Army opens new competition with 1,100 vacancies for sergeant training; opportunity can transform lives with a stable career, competitive salary, and structured professional growth.
-
CEFET opens a new selection process for a Substitute Professor position with a salary of up to R$ 8,000 and R$ 1,192.00 for food to work in MG.
- Electricity and Instruments;
- Armament;
- Aeronautical Mechanic;
- Supplies;
- Flight Equipment;
- Structure and Painting;
- Guard and Security.
Therefore, the first requirement is to have an interest in one of these sectors. It is important to mention that the Aeronautics course is equivalent to a technical course for those who complete the entire process. Another requirement is to be a native Brazilian and not have children, be married, or in a common-law marriage. These last prerequisites are requirements of Law 6,880, from December 9, 1980, as these conditions are not compatible with the internment regime.
High school candidates who are approved in the Aeronautics public competition will live in internment at EEAR. Therefore, the student must reside within the school’s facilities during the course duration, which is two years. However, they will receive a fixed remuneration by law. Additionally, students will receive housing, medical and dental assistance, and food.
Applications Close on March 15
Applications for the Aeronautics competition occur only through the completion of the Application Request Form (FSI). This form will be available on the website of the Aeronautics School of Specialties (EEAR) during the application period, which will take place from February 23, 2023, until 3 PM on March 15.
Furthermore, the candidate must pay an application fee of R$ 80. The selection process will consist of 5 stages: written exam, health inspection (INSPSAU), Physical Conditioning Assessment Test (TACF), Psychological Aptitude Examination (EAP), and Complementary Validation.
To check the details related to the application, just visit the official FAB website.
The written exam of the public competition will take place in 15 different municipalities across all regions of the country. Therefore, the candidate must choose one of the options when registering for the Aeronautics competition. However, the stages of INSPSAU, EAP, and TACF will occur only in 7 cities previously defined by the announcement.
Thus, the municipality in which the high school candidate will take the other stages depends on the municipality they chose for the written exam. Therefore, the final stage, like the course, will be in the municipality of Guaratinguetá, in São Paulo.
