New Public Competition for the Penal Police in Paraná: Edict Opened by DEPEN-PR Counts with 7 Immediate Vacancies and Reserve Registration.

The Department of Penal Police of Paraná (DEPEN-PR) has announced the edict for its public competition for Penal Police Officer, with registrations open from February 22 to March 23, 2024. The edict offers seven immediate vacancies and forms a reserve registration and will be coordinated by Instituto AOCP, which guarantees candidates a salary of R$ 4,548.97, in addition to benefits. With accessible requirements, such as completed high school and minimum age of 18, the evaluation stages include objective test, psychological evaluation, social investigation, training course, and medical evaluation.

When Do the Registrations Open for the Penal Police Competition?

The Department of Penal Police of Paraná (DEPEN-PR) has announced the opening of its new public competition, with the edict published in the Official State Gazette.

Registrations started on February 22, offering opportunities for immediate employment vacancies and forming a reserve registration for the position of Penal Police Officer.

The competition offers seven immediate vacancies, in addition to creating a reserve registration.

Instituto AOCP will be responsible for coordinating the public competition, with 10% of the vacancies reserved for black individuals and 5% for persons with disabilities.

Who Can Take the Penal Police Competition?

The only requirement to participate is completed high school, minimum age of 18, possession of a national driver’s license — CNH in category “B” and good social conduct.

How Much Does a Competition Penal Police Officer Earn?

The salary for the position in the Penal Police is R$ 4,548.97, in addition to a food allowance of R$ 634.74.

The work shift is 40 hours per week, with the possibility of schedules, ensuring more stability for candidates interested in the employment vacancies.

The selection process for the public competition will include several evaluation stages, including:

  1. Objective Test: Eliminatory and classificatory;
  2. Psychological Evaluation: Eliminatory;
  3. Social Investigation: Eliminatory;

How to Register for the Public Competition of the Penal Police?

Registrations will be conducted exclusively online, on the Institute’s website, from February 22 to March 23, 2024. The registration fee is R$ 110.00.

What Is on the Penal Police Test?

The objective test is scheduled for May 5, 2024, with 75 questions on Portuguese language, logical-mathematical reasoning, informatics, and specific knowledge.

The cities of Cascavel, Curitiba, and Londrina will host the application, with the confirmation of the location through a convocation edict on April 17.

Finally, the preliminary answer key and the question booklet will be published one day after the test.
